How can i stop being a drug addict?
im a marijuana daily smoker. i cant stop smoking if i try to quit, ill get depressed or angry. i am very successful as a college student. when am sober i tend to be very hyperactive i cant stay calmed. ( i dont know if thats related to my drug addiction). i’ve never been very social. in fact i dont have any friends all i care is school and getting high. i dont have a job. my school is too hard for having a job. ( engineering). i dont wanna work for now until i finish with school. i am economically stable.

Try and go out. Make friend entertain yourself. If u wanns smoke eat or go out and shop or something.

Seek help. I’m not saying go and ask everybody of ways to help you overcome your addiction, but maybe search online for guides or search on YouTube for people who have overcome drug problems. Check yourself into rehab and attend AAA meetings. I’m only 13 so you may think I’m too young and don’t know what I’m talking about, but my brother and my sister were drug addicts and they both attended rehab. My brother now has a job and supports himself by paying for his house and his car. My sister is now 17 but I don’t think rehab worked for her. I still believe she’s doing drugs but oh well. I also think one of the main importancies on this is your state of mind. If you tell yourself you can’t do it, well it’s simply that. You can’t do it. Have a positive mind set and tell yourself you can. You can always change your emotions, so you’re choosing to be angry. Choose to be happy, you’re straightening your life up after all! 🙂
