Guys, Why Are You Like This Towards the Woman Who Stood by You?
Question by sexsea1: Guys, why are you like this towards the woman who stood by you?
I stood by my man for 8 yrs. (we have a 4 yr. old) through his drug addiction, jail time, rehab, abuse (both physical and verbal) although I put my foot down when he hit me, turned him in and he got help and never did it again! Supported him when he lost his job, ETC. ETC.!! He’s been out of rehab, and sober for 1 1/2 yrs. and all he would talk about is getting his family back, starting over and he loves us. Now he has a new jo and works 6 days a week and hasn’t made any real decisions or steps toward reuniting us completely(we live seperate, him at his moms, i have my own home w/ our son) He’s saved not one penny from working, and when i bring up the fact that we’re stuck in the same place, he keeps saying to wait, it’ll happen!! I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR 8 FU**ING YRS!!! Now I’m not dumb, I’ve been working on me, been in college, bettering myself, being a better parent, but yesterday he says ” I’m too busy now for a family.” Why did he wait till now, He’s wasted yrs of our lives, why???

Honestly, i’ve been in this position and what you really have to do is decide whether you really love him or are just with him to be with someone. If you really love him and want to be with him, back off. As wierd as that sounds, just back off and let him realize what you did for him. However, if he doesn’t realize this, he really isn’t worth your time at all.
