Need Help With Cps in Houston?

Question by anonymous: need help with cps in Houston?
My sister has had five children and is seriously unstable. One of the children have died, and cps has taken the others away multiple times only to give them back again. Filthy living habits, living on the streets while she was prostituting, making them eat out of the garbage, drug abuse and the last time they were sent home my six year old niece was raped by a guy she let in her house, while she was sitting in the other room. Now after six months of cps “rehab” they are sending them back. Now these children all have sever emotional and mental problems, but the state things they should go back even though it has been proven that she will do the same things again.
does anyone know how to get cps(Houston) to not give them back. Is there anything legally that our family can do? We do not want to see these children hurt any more.

I dont live in Houston but you could call CPS, make another report, ask for copies of documents and petition the Court to grant you custody. Short of you or your family asking for them and adopting them I don’t see how else you can really ensure she won’t get them back.
