Why Was Whitney Houston “rejected” Out of the 2010 Grammy Awards?
Question by Nick Windsor: Why was Whitney Houston “rejected” out of the 2010 Grammy Awards?
I feel sad for her that she wasn’t invited at the Grammys, and I read it was a rejection. In the 80’s (and 90’s), she was a goddess, and now that she released her comeback album (that she was very proud of), she didn’t go to the Grammys! 🙁

I was sooo disappointed and falbbergasted that Whitney was not nominated!!! Then looking at some of the artists who were nominated just made me flat out angry! I LOVE Whitney and will ALWAYS be a fan of hers. She doesn’t need a nomination from an industry that has went downhill in sooo many ways. She has her fans, family, and God. Let’s hope that that is enough for her and that she was not hurt terribly by it. She is a very strong person.
I don’t know why she wasn’t nominated but the media has been unnecessarily critical of her since her comeback. Maybe people are jealous, maybe they see her as a risk because of her drug habit, or maybe they just don’t like her anymore. I don’t know but she DESERVED a nomination and a win IMO.
Nippy has strength, grace, courage, beauty and talent. Shes been through a hell of a lot more than a snub from the Grammy’s I’m sure she will keep on shinin’ without any recognition from them.
lets take a cute from a very wise woman shall we? ” Aint Got Nothin’ But Love”
